The client received a Saskatchewan early childhood educator certificate at Level 3.
The Korean write-up explains that the level depends on the courses completed and on the province applied to, that the conversion is possible without prior Korean childcare work experience and without having studied early childhood education, and that if the completed coursework falls short, the gap can be filled through Korean Credit Bank courses. It notes that some provinces require an English test score and others do not.
The write-up states that Level 3 is the highest level for childcare teachers, that it raises the base hourly wage, and that taking Montessori training additionally opens employment at Montessori daycares.
It advises allowing about five months for the conversion and timing it to the departure date, since holding the certificate on arrival allows the person to begin working as a childcare teacher immediately rather than waiting until after graduating from a school in Canada.
