The write-up covers a case that took roughly two months from college registration at Seneca College through to the final visa. The letter of acceptance was submitted on August 19, the first-stage approval came in September, and the final visa followed.
The Korean text describes Seneca College as the largest college in Canada by size and range of programs, with ten campuses, and notes programs that are unusual among Toronto-area colleges, such as commercial scuba diving, flight attendant training and pilot-related programs. It lists which campuses run which fields, including business, engineering, art and fashion at the main Newnham campus.
For admission, the write-up states that applicants either pass the college's own EAP program or enter on conditional admission, and that IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, or TOEFL 80 with at least 20 in each section, is required. Some programs also require high school subject grades in addition to English scores.
It then describes popular programs, including International Business, Business Marketing, Real Property Administration and Early Childhood Education. The Early Childhood Education program is described as a two-year program with two practicum days a week and an employment rate of about 90 percent.
