The study permit was approved on November 24.
The client had been admitted to Vancouver Career College. The write-up noted that the January and May intakes for the following year were essentially full, and that study permits were taking six months or more, so applicants aiming at the September term should begin early.
The write-up described the college as offering 34 vocational programs across seven campuses in British Columbia in business, healthcare, art and design, legal and skilled trades, with rolling start dates, small classes, instructors with industry experience, and a practicum placement included in every program. It stated that eight out of ten graduates find work within six months of graduating.
