ECE certificate converted to Level 3

캐나다ECE 자격증 레벨3 최신변환후기

2021-08-12

The Korean write-up reported that a client completed the conversion to a Level 3 early childhood educator certificate.

The client had first contacted the firm just before the COVID-19 outbreak, initially asking for a Level 2 conversion that would allow work as a certified teacher in British Columbia, then changed plan during the pandemic to take further credit-bank courses and aim for Level 3. In the meantime the firm introduced a daycare, LMIA support was obtained, and the client travelled to Canada from Korea.

The client obtained the Saskatchewan Level 2 certificate first and used it to get a BC ECE certificate, then came back after completing 500 hours. The 500 hours of BC daycare experience together with the completed credit-bank courses supported the conversion to the BC ECE IT/SNE certificate.

The post noted that the certificate level affects how many daycares a holder can work at and the pay on offer, and advised planning coursework so that at least Level 2 is reached.
